It's Going to Rain Mud

Just take a look at these pictures, although Christ is closer to coming back rest assured that sky has not turned black - it's going to rain mud. The city where we live frequently recieves an ample sample of dust from Syria or Iraq. Mix this dust with water from the sky and you get MUD! Several years ago I first witnessed this when I was wearing a white shirt as I was leaving church.
A shot of the sun hovering over the city.
Picture of my shoes on the balcony. I just swept the balcony this morning, and now it is full of dust.

These shots give you an eerie feeling as you look across the neighborhood from our balcony.

Enjoying Our Time at a Local Wedding

We are back into the swing of things! Actually we've returned to our home-away-from-home and started off the month with attending a friend's wedding. Here we are "cutting-the-rug;" for all our young readers - that means we are dancing!
If you look closely you will see Mike dancing with the locals at the wedding. Actually, the locals call it "playing."

Mike Before Surgery

Hi everyone! Just a short note to let you know that my hernia surgery went well. I am recovering well, but I can honestly say I can't do what I did in this picture. I also can tell you as a man that hernia surgery is far harder for a man than having a baby! I know they'll be skeptics out there, but think about it, it is impossible for a man to have a baby - so I think I am safe in saying this, but wait until I have kidney stones and then I may change my tune.

Influences That Make a Difference

We wanted to give special recognition to a former pastor of ours who had a huge impact regarding our desire to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. Brother Cliff regularly reminded us that the most important thing in life was to see others around the Throne of Grace worshipping God! Thanks Brother Cliff for your faithful ministry over the flock of God and mentoring us in being soul winners for Christ!

Love
